Step 1: Keyword research

What keywords do you think your customers can type in to search for your products or services? A keyword can be a diiferent word (e.g. “good use”), but many popular words or phrases are often preferred, because they are very specific and maybe what your customers want (e.g. “ Use of Search Engines ”).

Write down as many as you can. Ask for interviews with your team. Think of other words. Think of country clauses if they are important to your customers (eg “Hornsby house cleaning”). Also, find out more ideas from competing websites. Try making a list of 20-30 keywords.

Choose two keyword phrases that you think will be most searched. But also remember, when there is a competition for a keyword, it becomes difficult to get high levels. If you want to rate Google with the keyword “insurance”, you have a long way to go. So try your best to choose two keyword phrases that are most relevant to your business but incomprehensible or competitive. It is a good idea to have 2 or 3 words in each sentence (e.g. “Wedding cooking services”)

Once you have selected your two best keyword phrases the next step shows you how to improve your homepage.

Step 2: Web copy

Web copy refers to every word or text on your website. Because content is the master of the world of search engines, your keywords need to be ranked high on your web page to convince Google that your content is highly relevant to those keywords. The more prominent, the better. (Keep in mind that it is important as search engines are important, customers come first, so make sure your copy reads well.)

Here’s how to increase the visibility of each keyword:

• Put your keywords in the headings, perhaps at the beginning of the title;

• Enter keywords at the top of the page;

• Words in bold or in bold where appropriate;

• Instead of having a link to another “Click here to learn more” page, we rename it to enter your keywords, e.g. “Learn more about seo Copywriting Services “.

An important tip is to include these keywords in your HTML “tag title”. Use your content management system to make these changes yourself, or maybe ask your web developer what to do if you’re not sure how.

Once you’ve properly customized your home page, consider adding new content, such as detailed descriptions of your offers, FAQs and informative articles about your products and services. (If you don’t want to write them yourself, they can be found for free online – search the “directory”).

It is also good to remember that search engines can only read text, not images. Often web developers insert words into images to make them better for website visitors or use Flash to browse, but this is a major obstacle to search engines.

Step 3: Connect

Each link from another website to your website (not from your website) is considered by search engines as a vote of your business preferences and will improve your rankings.

But the quality, not the quantity, of the most important links. Some websites should be relevant to your category, and be very popular. Ten quality links count more than 500 links from non-core websites. In the same way your private business network can have a huge impact on the success of your business, as well as the online network you are building online.

Analyze all relevant websites that can link to you, such as non-competitive companies, industry organizations and organizations. Write a friendly email to anyone describing the benefits their visitors can get from knowing about your business, and ask them to create a link to your website. Most people will not answer for the first time, so a follow-up call is needed.

How do I monitor my results?

Check your Google rankings in the next few months by typing your keywords in the search box, and record your rating. Also look at your hosting reports to understand what search terms your visitors are using to find your website.

The above process can be repeated on each page of your website. Remember to keep updating your content, and continuously increase the number of links to your website.

As you see your ranks increase you should see a consistent increase in web traffic and a significant increase in sales queries. Make sure you record your client’s query source, so you can measure the success of your marketing efforts.
